Mostafa Darvishi received his Ph.D. with high honors from Polytechnique Montreal in 2018, specializing in electrical engineering. His doctoral research focused on the characterization of cosmic radiation effects on spacecraft electronics and avionic embedded systems, addressing a critical industrial challenge in the aerospace sector. This project involved collaboration among 35 leading Canadian universities and esteemed organizations, including the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), the European Space Agency (ESA), MDA Corporation, and NASA, which continued some facets of the research independently. Mostafa Darvishi currently holds the position of associate professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS) and serves as vice-president of engineering at an advanced technology company. His work effectively bridges the gap between academia and industry, significantly contributing to advancements in aerospace engineering and technology.
